Land of Fire and Ice
Our recent women's trip to Iceland was an unforgettable adventure filled with breathtaking sights, delicious tastes, and wonderful new friendships. We kicked off our journey with a private walking tour of Reykjavik, where we explored the city's vibrant streets while savoring Nordic specialties. The group enjoyed tasting traditional Icelandic treats like fermented shark, rye bread, and mouthwatering pastries, while laughing and bonding over our shared curiosity for new flavors. The camaraderie among the women was instant, with lively conversations and shared excitement building a sense of unity that lasted throughout the trip.
We were also immersed in Iceland’s awe-inspiring natural beauty, with the Northern Lights tour being a true highlight of our journey. The vibrant, swirling colors in the night sky left us all speechless, capturing the magic of nature in its purest form.
Our Southern Coast Tour showcased more stunning landscapes, from dramatic waterfalls to striking black sand beaches, while the Golden Circle Tour offered a fascinating glimpse into Iceland’s rich history and geothermal marvels.
A standout moment was our visit to Fridheimer's, the largest tomato greenhouse in Iceland, where we enjoyed a delicious, fresh tomato soup and handmade bread lunch. Afterward, we had the opportunity to walk to the stable grounds, where we were up close with Iceland's renowned purebred horses. We were treated to an exciting demonstration of the horses’ various gaits, further immersing us in the country’s unique culture.
As we explored the iconic sights, we couldn’t help but marvel at the grandeur of places like Thingvellir National Park and the Geysir Hot Springs.
One of the most memorable experiences was the Sky Lagoon, where we indulged in the rejuvenating 7-Step Ritual. The serene atmosphere of the lagoon allowed for quiet reflection and deep conversations with new friends, all while surrounded by Iceland’s wild beauty. Over five nights in a centrally located hotel, with transportation and excursions seamlessly organized, our group was able to truly immerse ourselves in the magic of Iceland. The laughter, the shared moments of wonder, and the new friendships formed are what made this trip so special—an experience we’ll cherish forever.
